Who is this?

Today's joy for today is finding the humor in things that really aren't supposed to be funny. For example, this advertising for a job I received in my e-mail was so badly written it seemed like the person was using every big word in English to sound professional but was using every one of them incorrectly. An example of this was where it mentioned that such and such company was "compromised of many of the best men and women:...
Another example of the unintentionally funny is the television ad for some kind of bed promising a "lifetime of temporary relief." That has got to be my all time favorite. It makes me wonder who has fallen asleep doing the editing. As I was an English major I tend to pick up on these things. Consumer Reports magazine has a page, usually the last one, full of advertisements gone wrong. I love to look at that page every month.
On another note, (E flat), I feel like I scored a few brownie points with the boss yesterday. I was checking in an order of Foster Grants when I discovered that many of them were labeled with the wrong bar codes. I only found this out when I went to put out a pair (named Queen) and then discovered that the pair didn't match what we had on display. So I then looked inside on the frame and sure enough, it had a different name on it. So I guess that is a double joy for the day, being sharp enough to pick up on something like that. Because the tags on the packages matched what we had on the slip, if I hadn't been putting them out, we might not have caught that.
