Molly and Tia
Who is this?

When I decided to start this blog, I thought that I would be writing this in the evening after I'd come home from work. I found out rather quickly that I am way too tired to write after a full day of work. So I'll be writing this in the morning. You may also notice that there is no place to post comments. I just didn't want to deal with snide comments from strangers or comments that had nothing to do with the topic.

Anyway, my joy for the day is the baby animals that appear this time of year. The other day I returned from visiting my parents when I saw what I thought was a lone turkey in the yard. As I pulled up a little closer I noticed that she was not alone; there were several babies ('goblets' as my late friend Bill called them) with her. Turkeys in general are kind of ugly birds, but even they have cute babies. I also love it when I see the calves start appearing. It always seems like they're not there one day, and then the next there are several calves in the field.
The start of new life is always a cause for joy for me, and is a reminder of the new life we have in Christ. He died so that we would have new life.
When my baby nephew was born a little over five months ago, I had  a ball speculating on what he would become someday. New life brings new possibilities, new opportunities, and more reasons to be joyful. So as I continue on in my search for joy I see that joy can be found in things that happen every day,  but are still miracles anyway.
