I'm writing this at 11:23 pm, after a frustrating day at work. Frustrating because my supervisor refuses to give instructions to everybody directly; she just tells one person to pass it along, and it almost inevitably causes arguments because the person on the receiving end feels like they are being bossed around and that they don't have a choice in the matter. And the person doing the passing along is the proverbial messenger who gets killed for being the bearer of bad news. Yes, that was how my day went. Unfortunately I was the one killing the messenger. (We made up later on, though.) So I was glad to come home to such pressing concerns as catching a small black bunny (with poopy butt, who needs a bath), and whether or not Harvey hamster is a Dodgers or a Cardinals fan, as it looked like he was watching the game on ESPN. We thought maybe we should get him a tiny little Dodgers cap, but we don't think they make them small enough.
Also want to give a shout-out to my nephew/brother. 24 years ago today I became an aunt/big sister for the first time, and it was awesome no longer being the baby! Yeah, I probably drove him crazy, looking back on it. But my older brother got the privilege of torturing me, so I guess that's the name of the sibling game. Anyhow, the day Ash was born was one of the best days of my life. He's turned out so well, and I'm so proud of him. God is really doing great things with him. Love you, Ash, happy birthday!
