On my way home from work tonight, I came across a turkey in the road. Wanting to avoid him, I started to drive around him to the left, at which point he turned right into the path of my car. I stopped, and started to go around him to the right, at which point he promptly ran in front of my car again! This went on, he running in a zigzag pattern, me half exasperated and half amused, trying to avoid him until he finally went onto the right side of the road, at which point I went around him before he could change his mind again. I had to laugh after it was over.
On my way to work this morning, I had a mama deer and her baby run across the road. I was a little ways away, so I didn't get a good look, but it was still an awe! moment. Gotta love God's creatures, and I do! (Except for spiders).
