I keep thinking that's the kind of relationship we should have with God. And by 'we', I actually mean 'me'. To just not want to let Him go, to keep close to Him, and not leave His shelter. After all, Psalm 91 reads:
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling. For Hr orders His angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! (Psalm 91:9-13)And of course one day in God's house is better than a thousand else where. This doesn't mean we will never face physical danger or harm, but rather that our souls are in His hand. He won't let go of us, even though we might try to escape Him. God is so unimaginably good to us. Do we take notice?
