An unexpected source of joy...

Today at the church luncheon, I had the chance to catch up with people I hadn't seen for a long time.  She told me today that she liked the comments that I post on Facebook on my sister/niece-in-law's comments. Apparently my comments are appreciated by the sister-in-law too! I didn't realize how much my comments meant to people, and I was glad to hear it. It's a joy to find out how much I'm helping somebody by what I saw or in this case, post. My boss, on my review had commented that although I hadn't been named as an associate of the month this year, many of the First Class tickets I'd written for people recommending them for the honor had resulted in the person being named as an associate of the month. Sometimes it's great to know that my encouragement and my words matter, that I do make a difference. Perhaps I have the gift of encouragement. I thank God for these unexpected joys that I encounter along the way--I may be used by God more than I realize.
