Thinking about love.
The most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony. (Colossians 3:14)Love is an action. If we are wearing love we are not only feeling love but we are acting upon it. How do we act upon love? We act upon it by showing kindness to people. We act upon it by preaching the Gospel of Christ and not only that but we live our lives based upon that Gospel. In some cases, love means not doing what will make people happy but doing what is best for them. Loving means helping, not enabling. At the same time, while we don't want to enable, we also want to be sure of our motives. Gentle correction, not judgmental condemnation is what is needed.
Still, I think God gave us the ultimate Valentine: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
