I like fugues...

On the drive home from work tonight, I listened to some fugues by Bach. I got to thinking how much I enjoyed it...each voice has its own line, and yet, when you put them together they fit together in harmony. I think it's nifty...you wouldn't have the same song if you took one voice out or if you added a voice in. It's awesome to think that somebody could write these pieces and know how to put them together so that you don't have chaos. Sort of reminds me of my Creator--He knew what He was doing when He formed me in my mother's womb. He put me together so that my heart would pump, my lungs would inflate and deflate, how my brain would send messages to the rest of my body to get these systems to work together. It's just amazing how our Creator works, and how He gives these composers their music. What a wonderful God we serve!
