Another day of work, another day that I'm convinced that a new job is in order. After a coworker accused me of not being a team player because I mentioned that I needed to leave by a certain time to get my husband to work, I nearly lost it. So finding joy is extremely hard, but I'm trying.
Today's joy is the absurd. Last night I watched some Three Stooges shorts while reading A Midsummer's Night's Dream. Believe it or not I was able to follow both story lines, secretly adding a "Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk" to every soliloquy. I love programs like Monty Python's Flying Circus and artists like Peter Schickele, who actually spoofs a lot of classical music. He is the mastermind behind PDQ Bach, the last and certainly the least of JS Bachs 20 plus children. Concert hall music needs a little humor in it, as it tends to take itself way to seriously at times.
On another note, please pray that there will be some sort of resolution to my situation at work without me quitting. I feel like I'm at the end of my rope, and I don't want to leave without another job lined up. Thanks in advance for all your prayers.
