Got to see family yesterday that I don't see all that often. It's good to spend time with loved ones, and we had a great time yesterday. It turns out that four of us are August babies--myself, my grandmother, my cousin, and my uncle all  have August babies, so we had a giant card reading session, which was interesting. We all read all the cards that everybody got us--my mother's card to her mother provoked the biggest laughs. (Monkey cards always do). Mr. Bear went for his first swim in open water yesterday--he loved it!! He was kicking his legs, and splashing, and laughing. Auntie Care was making him laugh after he got out of the water, she was making faces and he was delighted. He's so darn cute I can't stand it sometimes.Later on we played croquet and I remembered that God gave me no athletic ability whatsoever. I couldn't hit the ball hard enough for any reason. It was pretty frustrating, but maybe it was because I was tired. But yesterday was a big reminder of God's kindness and I am so grateful for Him and for family.
